aboutSuzanne Volpe, Loudoun Supervisor for the Algonkian District since January 2012, has been a groundbreaking leader in reforming government and politics and improving life in her community for more than two decades.

A life-long resident of Northern Virginia, as Supervisor Suzanne has made enormous strides toward her goals of giving the Algonkian community a voice and making Loudoun County the best place in America to live, work, learn, run a business and raise a family. As promised, she has led efforts to improve service, responsiveness and accountability to residents; address the County’s growing traffic problems; increase efficiency; reduce waste and bureaucracy and attract business, while striving to lessen the tax burden on residents.

Among Suzanne’s key accomplishments have been the establishment of the Government Reform Commission as well as increasing investment in our transportation infrastructure by designating two pennies on the tax rate for road construction as well as including transportation projects in the County’s Capital Improvement Program.

Suzanne prepared for her leadership on the Board through innovative service in dozens of community and political positions – a number of them listed below. In particular, she served on the Loudoun County Planning Commission, where she worked to promote family-friendly communities along with much needed road improvements for the county, as well as President of the Cascades Community Association, where her growing understanding of the neglect of our neighborhoods inspired her commitment to give Algonkian a voice on the Board of Supervisors.

Born and raised in Northern Virginia, Suzanne is a 20-year resident of Sterling and a graduate of Virginia Tech and Bishop O’Connell High School. Her dedication as a wife of 21 years and mother of a 12-year-old daughter has given her insight into the challenges of raising a family in our community.

On November 3rd, re-elect the candidate with the leadership, experience and dedication you can trust to make Loudoun County the best place to live in America.
